Banco Bice To Issue $169 Million Local Bonds

Chile’s Banco Bice is to issue $169 million worth of local bonds (UF5 million). The inflation-linked bonds mature in 2009 and will be issued in two series – 43 and 44 – carrying interest rates of 4.0% and 4.25% respectively. The bonds have been given a AA rating by Fitch Chile.
