Peru Keeps Rate at 1.25%

Peru’s central bank decided Thursday to keep its key interest rate at 1.25%, as was widely expected. The bank’s monetary policy committee explains a fall in inflation 1.87% in August from 6.65% in December is the primary driver behind the decision.
