Mexican Infonavit Places 1 Billion MBS

State-owned agency Infonavit, Mexico’s largest home financing company, has placed 1.05 billion pesos (nearly $100 million) of mortgage-backed securities (MBS). The non-profit lender plans to issue around 6 billion pesos of MBS next year, up from about 4 billion this year.
