Argentina Grows 8.3% In First Half

Figures released Thursday by Argentina’s national institute of statistics (INDEC) indicate second-quarter economic growth of 7.9% in the South American country, taking first-half expansion of the economy to 8.3%. First-quarter growth of 8.6% was revised up to 8.8%.
