InBev Taps Castro Neves To Head Latin America South
Belgian-based InBev, the largest brewer in the world, has appointed Joao Castro Neves president of Latin America South zone, effective January 1, 2007. Castro Neves is currently chief financial and investor relations officer of AmBev, the company’s Brazilian subsidiary. Upon taking up his new position, he will also become an executive board member of InBev. The company decided to add a sixth zone to its regional divisions following the increased equity stake by AmBev in Argentine brewer Quinsa. The current chief executive of Quinsa, Agustin Garcia Mansilla, has decided to step down.
