LatAm Equities on Positive Ground

LatAm equity funds registered a 3.09% increase on the week ended March 19, making them the best performer of all world equity funds for the week, Lipper data shows. In comparison, EM equity funds dropped 4.06% and global small and mid-cap funds lost 10.04%. According to EPFR Global, LatAm equity funds saw an inflow of $22m for the week ended March 18, finishing with $19.7bn under management. Brazil-focused equity funds, meanwhile, pulled in $6.9m for the week, ending with $6.43bn under management. Meanwhile, GEM equity funds ended the week with outflows of $27.9m and $107.3bn in assets.
