Mexico Gets WB Capital Injection
The World Bank says it is giving Mexico $205m in fast disbursing loans to help the country fight the swine flu virus. The project will be fast-tracked so that funds can be disbursed in a period of 3-5 weeks, the bank says. A WB spokesman says terms are still being negotiated, but that they are likely to include a 17-year maturity, 17-year grace period and an interest rate over Libor.
