Brazilian Banks Look to Africa

Brazilian banks Banco do Brasil and Bradesco and Portugal’s Espirito Santo have signed an agreement to expand Banco Espirito Santo Africa (BES Africa) organically or by acquiring other banks in the continent, a Banco do Brasil spokeswoman says. She adds that specific investment plans have not been determined yet.
