Cablecom Denies Stake Sale Discussions

An executive in Cablecom’s department of finance denied a local news report that the Mexican cable company is in discussions to sell a 49% stake to Televisa. Carlos Bustamante says there are no talks with either Televisa or any other parties regarding a potential stake sale. The rumor had originally been reported in Mexican newspaper Excelsior.
