Saieh Buys 10% Stake in La Polar

Grupo Saieh has acquired a 10% stake in Chilean retailer La Polar. Grupo Saieh is owned by Alvaro Saieh, who also controls the SMU retail chain and 20% of the supermarket sector. Celfin advised Saieh on the investment, but did not say how much Saieh paid for the stake.
