BRF Sells Processing Operation to JBS

Brasil Foods (BRF) has agreed to sell its Ana Rech pork and poultry unit to meatpacker JBS for BRL200m ($100m), JBS says. JBS is to pay BRL120m for the Ana Rech plant and the Granja Andre da Rocha farm, and BRL80m for livestock included in the deal. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval.
