Peru Holds Rates

Peru’s Central Bank has kept the country’s benchmark interest rates at 4.25%. It cites inflation and economic growth as considerations in its decision. It raised its benchmark rate to 4.25% in May 2011 and has held since. The board next meets on November 7.
