Wilson Bley Lipski has been appointed CEO of Paraná state’s water and sanitation company Companhia de Saneamento do Paraná, or Sanepar.
Bley will replace Claudio Stabile at the company’s helm in the coming weeks, according to a securities filing.
The decision by Paraná governor Carlos Massa Ratinho Junior is part of a wider reshuffle within the state government, including the regional development bank BRDE. Bley is a former CFO of the bank, according to Paraná’s news agency, and was also the state’s secretary of urban development.
Paraná has a 20% stake in Sanepar, including 60% of voting rights, and the local governor is in favor of the state divesting shares in the company. Bley oversaw the privatization of local power company Copel last year.
Stabile, who has led Sanepar for the past five years, was appointed state secretary of administration and social security.
