Telecom Argentina said it extended the premium on an ongoing bond exchange until the final deadline next month.
The telco is now offering to pay a $30 premium for every 8% 2026 bond tendered by August 8 after investors offered $115 million worth of notes, it said Thursday in a press release.
Telecom Argentina announced the exchange offer on July 11, initially offering an even swap for every $1,000 in principal for notes turned in by July 24 and $970 thereafter. It is looking to exchange up to $200 million of the 2026s for its newly issued 9.5% 2031 notes.
On Monday, it also extended the early-bird premium on a buyback underway for its 8.5% 2025 bonds.
