AT&T, which is consolidating recent acquisitions in Latin America, has named Carlos Antonio da Costa Andri as chief executive officer of its Brazilian operations. AT&T recently bought Brazilian carrier Netstream and is merging it with FirstCom and KeyTech LD to create AT&T Latin America.

Da Costa was previously president of Oracle Systems’ Brazilian operations and also earlier worked for Novell and ran his own company, Unilog. Da Costa holds an international executive MBA from the University of São Paulo.
