Roberto Bianchi, CEO of Chile’s Metro Santiago, will leave his post effective June 1, after nearly three years in the role. He will be replaced by Ramon Canas, who comes to the role his position as the Santiago metro system’s COO.

Concession Names New Leader
Concessionaria Auto Raposo Tavares (CART) has named Tulio Abi-Saber as CEO, the Brazilian road operator says. He was previously an executive in the planning department of Invepar, CART’s controller. Abi-Saber replaces Ricardo Duarte.
JPMorgan Adds Mexico IB Head
Felipe Garcia-Moreno is to join JPMorgan as the head of banking coverage for Mexico, according to people familiar with the move, effective April 1. The veteran banker joins from Morgan Stanley, where he ran the bank’s Mexico office. He was previously at Credit Suisse. Based in Mexico City, Garcia-Moreno will report to LatAm investment banking co-heads Alejandro Guevara and Lisandro Miguens, as well as senior Mexico country officer Eduardo Cepeda.
Vitro Names CEO
Vitro has named Adrian Sada as CEO, it says. He replaces Hugo Lara, who has been at the Mexican glassmaker since 2004, and resigns after holding the CEO post since 2008. Adrian Sada has been with the company since 1998, and comes to the post from the role of president of its glass containers operations, a job he has held since March 2012. Vitro recently announced the conclusion of its financial restructuring.
Mizuho Expands LatAm Trading
Mizuho has hired Allan Grauer as head of LatAm trading, Sebastian Azumendi as head of LatAm credit trading, and Georges Fernandes as head of high-yield credit trading, it says. Fixed income sales hires included Rod Eichler and Nestor Cybriwsky, and Mizuho notes that more hires are anticipated. The moves come as the bank is expanding in the region. It is in the regulatory approval process for its acquisition of Banco West LB do Brasil, it says.
Copa Names New CFO
Panama’s Copa Holdings has named Jose Montero CFO, beginning March 15. He comes to the role from his current post as director of planning with Copa Airlines, and replaces Victor Vial, who becomes an advisor to the board of directors. Montero has been with Copa since 1993. Copa Holdings is the parent company of Panama-based airlines Copa and Aero Republica.
Chilean Copper CEO Resigns
Enrique Valdivieso has resigned from his post as CEO of Empresa Nacional de Mineria (Enami) effective April 1, the state-run copper producer says. He was named to the position in January 2012 and had previously worked at Asimet and Corporacion de Desarrollo Pro O’Higgins and Siemens Building Technologies.
JPM Chile Head to Retire
Vicente Monje plans to retire as Chile country head for JPMorgan, according to a source familiar with the move. He is to be replaced by Alfonso Eyzaguirre, the bank’s head of investment banking in Chile. Eyzaguirre is expected to transition into the role over several weeks, and will continue to hold his investment banking head duties. Monje had been with the firm since 1986.
SAAM CEO Resigns
Sociedad Matriz SAAM CEO Alejandro Garcia-Huidobro has resigned his position, the Chilean port logistics company says. He is to leave effective March 31, replaced by Javier Bitar. Bitar comes to the role from fellow Luksic family company Vina San Pedro Tarapaca, where he is CEO. He will be replaced there by Pedro Herane. SAAM was spun off of Compania Sudamericana de Vapores last year.
GS Picks Brazil IB Heads
Goldman Sachs has named Fabio Bicudo and Antonio Pereira as co-heads of the bank’s Brazil investment banking business, according to a person familiar with the matter. The move comes after Daniel Wainstein announced his retirement from the firm. Bicudo and Pereira are currently co-COOs of the Brazil IB business. Pereira joined Goldman in 1996 and Bicudo started in 1999, and returned to the bank in 2010 after a 4-year stint with Citi. Wainstein had been with Goldman since 2000, becoming a co-head of Brazil IB in 2008, the head in 2010, and chairman in 2012.
