Grupo Aeroportuario de la Ciudad de Mexico (GACM) could return to the dollar bond market in Q4 this year, depending on market conditions, Chief Financial Officer Ricardo Dueñas told LatinFinance.
When asked about the possibility of issuing bonds before then, Dueñas cited foreign exchange volatility and political uncertainty over US-Mexico relations. “Unless there is an urgency, I do not think this is the best time,” he said.
Last year GACM said it could print up to $6bn in the cross-border bond markets over the next five years. It issued $2bn in green securities last September.
“We have enough funding for this year and next year,” Dueñas said.
GACM also has a $3bn short-term revolving credit facility which Dueñas said he would like to refinance.
